THE FUNERAL HONORS CEREMONY & MILITARY FUNERAL PROCEDURES
A Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony is designed to honor fallen members of the military or veterans. This ceremony will be performed by at least two Armed Forces members, at least one of which served in the Armed Forces that the veteran served in. The United States flag will be folded and presented to the veteran's family during this ceremony. Taps will also be played by a bugler or a quality recorded version. Military funeral procedures can differ depending on the status of the veteran that they are honoring. The three types of Funeral Honors are:
- Standard Honors Team Detail
- 7 Person Detail
- Full Military Honors
